The Women’s Home welcomed close to 350 guests to its highly anticipated Falling for Fashion Luncheon, an afternoon infused with autumn charm, runway-ready style, and heartfelt inspiration. The chic celebration raised $253,000 in support of the organization’s mission to build communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability.
Chaired by Swoon Magazines Publisher Lara Bell Milam and Suzanne Stiles, the luncheon seamlessly blended fashion, philanthropy, and powerful storytelling. Damali Keith served as emcee, setting a lively tone as she guided guests through a thoughtfully curated program that featured a fashion show, awards ceremony, moving testimonial, raffle drawing, and special announcements.
The highlight of the afternoon was a fashion show produced by Todd Ramos, showcasing curated looks from The Women’s Home Cottage Thrift Shop. Models took to the runway in three playful, themed segments – rodeo, holiday, and out on the town. Hair was styled by SOK Salon on Kirby, with makeup by Edward Sanchez Cosmetics, completing each look with polished flair.
During the awards ceremony, Elaine Turner received the Steel Magnolia Award, and DRW was honored as Champion of The Women’s Home. CEO of The Women’s Home Anna Coffey shared remarks highlighting the organization’s impact and vision for the future. Guests were also deeply moved by a powerful testimonial from Mary, a former graduate of The Women’s Home, whose story underscored the life-changing nature of the organization’s work.
