#girlbosses Rock…

Summer is in full swing, and our July issue is one of my favorites of the year! We are proud to present our Ninth Annual #GirlBoss Issue, celebrating an incredible group of women business owners and entrepreneurs who are making a difference throughout our community. These women are leaders, innovators, mentors, and role models who continue to inspire us with their passion, determination, and commitment to serving Memorial and beyond. We are honored to share their stories and recognize the impact they have on our neighborhoods and local economy.
We are also celebrating a historic achievement for Memorial High School Baseball. This season, the Mustangs made history by advancing to the state tournament for the very first time. Their remarkable run was fueled by hard work, perseverance, and teamwork, and we couldn’t be prouder of these student-athletes, coaches, and families who helped make this unforgettable season possible.
Looking for new places to dine this summer? We’ve got you covered with a roundup of some of the newest restaurants creating buzz around town. From casual neighborhood favorites to exciting new concepts, these spots are perfect for summer lunches, family dinners, and evenings out with friends. In our Swoonworthy News section, we highlight the efforts of the Spring Branch ISD Alumni Association, which is planning a special fundraiser this August dedicated to preserving the rich history and legacy of Spring Branch Independent School District. Their work helps ensure that generations of stories, memories, and milestones are not forgotten.
As always, thank you for supporting Swoon Memorial Magazine. We hope this issue inspires you to celebrate local success, discover something new, and enjoy everything summer has to offer in our wonderful community.
