As summer settles into Houston, our June issue of Swoon Memorial Magazine is packed with stories celebrating community and some exciting new additions around Memorial and beyond. First, on this month’s cover, we spotlight U.S. Coins and Jewelry and their impressive new headquarters, showroom, and expanded space that collectors and history lovers alike are already swooning about. Located right next door to their old location, their passion for rare coins, history, and customer experience has helped make them one of the most respected names in the industry, and we are thrilled to share their story with our readers.

Of course, June also means celebrating the dads in our lives, and our annual Father’s Day Gift Guide is filled with ideas to help make every father figure feel appreciated. From stylish finds to unique local experiences, we hope it inspires you to shop local while finding something special.

Food lovers will also want to turn to our feature on the new restaurant everyone is talking about from Mac Haik called Kirkwood. The exciting new concept is already drawing attention for its atmosphere, menu, and becoming one of Houston’s newest gathering spots. We are also proud to feature our Noteworthy Neighbors, Mady and Ken Kades, whose longtime love and support of the arts continues to make a meaningful impact throughout our community.
