Spring is a busy season…

There is something special about driving through Memorial and seeing neighboring front porches dressed up for spring, gardens starting to bloom, and homes reflecting the personality of the families inside. It’s why our feature is all about celebrating Memorial’s Homes and Gardens. From curated outdoor living spaces to cozy interiors layered with timeless charm, Memorial truly loves its homes — and it shows.
In March we also focus on Health & Wellness, because like a beautiful home our health and wellness begin with a strong foundation. Read inspiring ideas and get expert insight on how to prioritize wellness in your daily routine — mind, body, and spirit. In this issue we also bring you a joyful recap of Swoon Magazine’s recent 2nd Annual Galentine’s Social, and what a celebration it was! From pop-ups to live music and the most incredible community of women, the energy in the room reminded us exactly why we love what we do.
In our kids’ section, Houston Christian High School senior Andrew Knobbe (Class of 2026) has been selected to serve as a Production Assistant on the set of an upcoming feature film—an honor that distinguishes him as the only high school student chosen to join the professional cast and crew. For our March Noteworthy Neighbor, meet Artist Barbara Able who is bringing a quiet depth to Houston’s creative community. Plus, as the Spring season brings us longer days, don’t forget to set your clocks forward on Sunday, March 8, to get that extra hour of sleep. For those who turn Irish on Saint Paddy’s Day, we’ve rounded up a few festive spots to grab your green and celebrate some shenanigans in style. Of course, Spring officially begins Friday, March 20 and we all know March is also Rodeo season, so grab your boots and get ready to party at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. That’s not all, it doesn’t stop there, as March ends we hop right into Easter on April 5th!
So, raise a glass as we wish all of you a Happy Spring and a Happy St. Paddy’s Day, cheers to homes we love, friendships we cherish, and a season full of fresh beginnings.
Sincerely,
Lara Bell, Publisher & Editor
